When your friend tell you a secret, that means they trust, its something personal and they don't wan't other people to know, because other people are not as close as you guys are, they can open up their inner world with you. There is no need for other people to be involved in this. I think we should not tell other people, unless they want to tell themselves, because you don't know who is going to hear it.

I won't ever tell anyone if my bestfriend told me something, it gives us a bond between us.

Beauty or brain?

Beauty or brain?

It is a really hard question because in my opinion a person should be beauty and have the brain, in the Bible it says that "Jesus is grow in both in the favor in God and man" I'm sure Jesus was growing in both I'm also sure that he is not ugly.
But is you want me to choose I would choose Brain, because if you have the knowledge then everything else will come to you you will know how to take care of yourself and be more and more beautiful it might not be in the eyes of God that you are good in beauty but in God's eyes I am beautiful. I want to have the knowledge and wisdom first to be able to choose what is best for me in so many ways.

Women at Work

In the beginning God created men and women to love each other to work with each other, and it is natural for the women to be weaker than the men, men goes out to work and women takes care of children at home. But now days the world promotes equality and the men and women are the same, when they are not the same, I'm not putting down women here but there are some job that is good for women, I think that Women once they are married I think all their time should be devoted to take care of her husband and her children, make her kid's childhood as fun as can be. I personaly think that politics is not what a women should go for, it is a world of men's point of view, and I think that God already give them the talent to do so, because politics needs critical thinking and women is too emotional minded for that.
I think that Women should work her best until she gets married then she can rely on her husband for life, I'm not saying for everything but for the most part. If a women after get married I think if the family is struggling with financial issues maybe the women can go out for the part time job.
I think the women should step back on some of the jobs that is offered that is suppose to be for men.

Turkey Anyone?

Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to reunite and just be visiting each other, its a warm season everyone could see their love ones.
This Thanksgiving I got alot of resting and relaxing I didn't really do anything, but it was nice to be with one of my close friends and just enjoy the company and talk to her, and just think about alot of things and clear my mind up i really needed that.

The Unseen Danger

Normal americans watches average of 4 hours worth of television a day now days, that is because they have nothing better to do, their life is so empty, and its the most lazy job ever that was created on earth, we don't even have to think for themselves the television does it for them. Its so fast that we don't even process the things that we take in and we just take it in it can't even refuse to process it. Just obsorb it all up.
When we watch TV everything else just loose its taste, everyone just wanting to do one thing, they seem to be lost in it but its just something that people feel their mind with so they don't have to think or use their brain for anything. The TV just make its philosophy for us.we view it according how the iv view, we loose so much value on alot of things just because the TV think its low.
I think that Ellen G. White is so right everyone do not have anything else in sight that is interesting to them because of the tv.

It's never too late

People can go back to college any time they want now days is it really a good idea? I think that its excellent idea, its never too late to learn more, there a too much for us to learn in this world and we could learn non-stop, its not late as long as you realize that you still need to learn, but also older folks have drawbacks like less energy or less ability to concentrate or get tired easily.
more and more old people in our society today know about nothing because they were never taught or they didn't have a chance to learn when they were young now that they have a chance they will change their view on thing and think more critically about it. I like the ambition of Mike Flynt, that was smart and I will do same if I was him.

Loneliness-prompt 18

Loneliness is something that I enjoy and dread at the same time. I love being by myself but at the same time I hate to be alone. Being alone scares me too much but it expand my thought wether it is good or bad, it makes me happy one minute and sad one minute, I know I don't really seem to be a person that likes to be alone but I am. Being alone can help me think about things not by my feeling but just think about it calmly, reason with myself and lay out everything possible thinks about everything in all face of the situation.
On a road of life I found myself walking alone I have nobody and that is what scares me the most, Even though I have so many friends arround me and everything but I still feel so alone that feeling gets to me so bad, that its like ceasing my life, it get to me so bad and I don't know how to stop it.
Anyway I really enjoy being alone at times

The day that I will never forget
It was about 5 years ago the summer that I spend in China, that was a wonderful summer, full of happiness and excitement.
It was time to go back to the Philippines because I was going to school there. So that day me and my dad got up early and went to the airport, everything went fine I arrived at the Manila airport and came out of the plane. It was super hot and humid too! I could hardly stand it anyway I got in line waiting to go through to see my mom on the other side. When it was my turn to go through they said that I don't have a visa, I was bombed out because I have just got a new visa how could this be did they mistaken something or what! anyway long story short I had to be deported back to China and that was a horrible experience and that night in the airport all by myself I started thinking about life and how precious it is I can't waste my life anymore and that is the bottom line. Anyway I had to do my visa all over again and came back to the Philippines!

If I was the president

If I was the president to be elected next year these are some things that I will definitely change.
First off I will not enforce the sunday keeping, it will be sabbath keeping, and also I will be lowering the sales tax , remove the troops from Iraq so all the soldier don't have to be in Iraq suffering anymore, they get to be with their family and have a normal person's life.
In California, I want to remove the tax for the company and drow them back to have business here.
change some of the immigration policies, so that it is easier for some people.
I don't really know about America that much but I just want to make everyone's life easier by reaching to their needs

It's mom's fault-prompt 14

Teenage drinking parties are becoming serious problem, even though it has been decline in the last few decades but its still a problem. I think that social host laws will never because this is really a personal choice and sometimes the parent's doesn't even care so they even supports their children, it might appear that there is less but if the teenage doesn't realize its bad then it won't change, I think that stricter parents might help some people but not all because some kids really rebel just for the sake of it its really sad, they rebel just for the sake of it. I think the parents are responsible for what their kids do but they should start when they are young and guide them and tell them thats bad, actually set a example for them is the best some parents even drinking away what does that say to the kids, they do the same thing.
When parents allow their children to drink at home or have like that party is like saying to them "please die early, or just kill yourself" it might seem that they are happy now but its so harmful for them and the parents are accountable for what they allow their children to do, it will lead the kids to distruction.
I just hope that the parents that they should pay attention to their kids and help them and guide them set example for them to follow and have a good and successful life.

Holiday Cheer prompt 14

I love holidays no matter they are big or small, that's the time for me to relax and just do whatever and most of all spent time with my family.
The holiday day that I like the most is Chinese new year. That time of the year were most people finish their work and just hang out at each other's house, lots of good food and see many people that we didn't see for a long time.
This year I went home for Chinese new year, its so cool, saw a lot of my family member that I don't even know about since I was born, its a time for bounding.This year I went home and on the first day we had to wake up super early just to eat because we had a lot to day in front of us, anyway we woke up around 5am and ate and 6am then we just started going to people's houses and greeting them and just say hi and see how they are doing for the whole year, but the best part was I get money every house I went to because its a tradition in China anyway that was fun.
The least holiday I like is Christmas day, maybe because I'm Asian so I don't really care about it but last year I spent it in my friend Yanine's house she was a graduate from Weimar 2 years ago, she is a really good friend of my, well, we woke up early that day and prepare meal and I liked that gift unwrapping everyboday was so excited and just seeing family spending time together and have a happy times thats what I really like.
So thats what I want to say about that.

disguisting! The day I will never forget

"If if weren't for that pill I wouldn't be stuck in this pickle" Believe it or not, it actually happened today, just a few hour before I'm writing this, I wasn't feeling well this morning when I woke up, but I didn't really think about it, I just got up and went on my day, in class I started feeling worse and worse, until physics class, Mr.Boyd keep on asking me if i was ok, but I was actually dying. Well, it was when I came back to the dorm and I was suppose to go with ms. Hayley somewhere, well I was struggling with the pain, so I ask her if she had Tylenol, well she had some, so I went to the kitchen area to drink some water with it, so I took out the cup and got some water, when the water went into my mouth immediately I thru up all over the sink and broke the glass, then I found out that the sink doesn't drain so I was stuck, and for the broken glass and I ended up duck-taping to the sink area! oh!!!! how disguisting!!!!!! I will never forget this day

Greatness

Greatness is something not everyone is, but everyone what to become great, when you are great, everyone knows you and you are loved everywhere just like superman, or spiderman, i know they are just fantasy but they seems to be great.
quality of being great:
1. have a willing heart to serve others
2. study alot read alot
3. don't do things just because you want to be great but for the sake of other people's goodness
4. humble

I think these are the most important character of being great, be great in God's eye is the most important, not in man's eye, or yourslve's eyes!

U.S. officials: 19 insurgents also died in operation targeting al-Qaida in Iraq
I personally think that this is very cruel decision, because of the fault from both country its effecting so many people, so many innocent people. Including kids, what did the Kids do? nothing, just simply being in that country and be the citizen thats why they got killed. "A person is a person no matter how small" this is so true, I felt so sorry for the kids.
I think that the war in Iraq has been going on too long, many people are getting killed just because for being there that is so sad. I don't agree with doing this at all!!!

Cursed Area Prompt-9

Ahch!!!!!!!!!!! That really hurts! Just in front of the College girls dorm I fell, due to the carelessness of so considered "friends" I was walking back to the academy after breakfast, I was playing around with Felicia, and she was holding on to me, and I said "Let go of me!" and to my surprise she really did, so I ended up on the floor, in front a whole group of peopl.
The next morning, I was walking by there, again Felicia was like I want to carry you on my back I said ok we were walking just fine when she tripped and I almost landed on the floor. Therefore I call it the cursed area, whenever I go near there I will always have something wrong. That was really memorable.

The person that I most want to meet is my died grandfather. He had done so much in my life,and I am very close to him, but unfortunately he pasted away a year ago that was kind of a shock to me cause I was expecting to see him again this summer, but he passed away two month after I left for school to come here. He is such a humble man and hard-working, God fearing, fast to listen and slow to talk. Always there for every family members, he treats everyone with kind, love and tolerance, no matter what we do, he always so OK to everything we want to do or say to him. I always thought that school was easy until I stepped in to an all english class, that was march 1999, I was in third grade, me and my parents has just moved to the Philippines and in an all english institute. I suddenly became mute, and deaf, all arround me its people talk the language that I don't understand anything, all I understood was the things in Math class and just then I still can't say anything because I don't know how to say it in english.
All of the a sudden and i don't feel smart anymore, there was nobody to talk to, nobody could know I was trying to say or want to say but as time goes by I started to learn things and speak english little by little and star to be fluent with it so I and start feeling smart again.

Micro trends is something that is not that important yet existing in the American people's life. People think that they are cool, and when they have a higher income they have no where to spent it, so they just use it in useless things. Hillary Clinton hire Penn for the campaign because he is a well known person and he is very convincing. Many people listen and believe in Penn he have a lot of points and easy to believe.
When we think of free society, its actually a good thing but people abuse it for bad things, like guy rights, its good to be free, but free does not mean you can do anything you want. There is a limit to everything. Freedom is good when it is being used in the right way.
Penn's book is a very good book, and I don't think its for politics because it talk about the culture of American and the flow that everybody is going to, whether its for politics or not, its a good book to read to avoid following the wrong thing.
In our school today I think wearing khaki is kind of a thing for everybody but thats just what I think.

A Day Of Sorrow

9/11 when ever people hear this word, a chill just come upon them, that including pain, sorrow, suffering, loosing of family member, world terrorism all this come to mind.
As a foreigner I really can't say that I know exactly how you guys feel, but I really synpathy with you guys, thats the most tragic thing I think happened to Americans, so many people died and injured for life for nothing, basically people die and get injured just for being americans.
I just think that its really not a humane thing to do, and definitely not God's will cause God wants everybody to be saved and nobody to die, and that day, thousands of people died, I really don't like that.

Fun times!!!

Last weekend I went on my last Academy Tahoe camp out, so much memories just flowed back to my head, I remember when I was still a freshmen, that year was the coldest year for camping I literally thought I was going to die. Anyway not too much on the past history.
I especially liked the lake activities, I had a lot of fun just being there, i was able to jump from the pole which I was scared to death about, I am a person who is scared of heights to death, but I was fortunate that i have Keith help me to be able to get up there, then I jumped down, it was such a cool feeling just for "wow! I accomplished something" type of thing was really memorable for me.
I loved the camp out, everyone is so nice and we just bounded together as a family i think that is just so cool. Its amazing how God lead us all together, it is his plan to put us all in the same school and be friends be family, the camp out went by fast and I am very happy that I went on this trip, it will be in my memories forever!! yay!

American the dream land

As a foreigner I must say that I really agree with what the president said, but on the other hand it is hard to handle all the illegal immigrants, because some people come to America and just do nothing, also not doing any productive things.
Should they leave or should they stay is a very hard question to answer cause there are so many reasons why people want to stay. One thing I really don't like is when the people have their really really young child in America and the child is American while the parents are not citizen, and then they get denied for their visa, they can't see or take care of their children for a long time, I don't think that's right also for old people to come to America, they are old anyway, and all they want to come to do is to visit their children or just have a happy later years of their life, but most of their application gets denied, I really don't like that. Well, other like young people, if they don't are not allowed to be in, I think its OK they can still do it again.I just don't think its right to just send people who have roots in America back to their homeland, that's like breaking families.
For society I think its good to have a multi culture environment people get to know other people and make a friend with them. As for the illegal immigrants I think in any shape or form its not good because its not right to do that. cause its like stealing or lying to get something that's not good.
I do agree with the president on some point not all, anyway I think the American government have a lot of reasons to reconsider, but I think everybody have to do their part, as in honesty and being a good and productive immigrants.
