Look into the future
In 5 years,I will be living on my own, its actually hard for me to imagine what its gonna be like. But as far as I'm planning I think I will have a family and living in Southern California, thats where I want to go. I'd be probably working as a physical therapy down in Loma Linda area.
for my personality I hope to become more mature and be more strong in Christ.I truely want to be happy though. In 5 years I'd be a whole new person.

After I read this article, many thoughts went through my mind. I was just amazed at what addiction gambling have on people! people can start so successful but when they touch gambling their lives are totally turned around. I think its mostly her own fault, she started to gamble and ended up with so much trouble. But then I think she does have a basis to have a lawsuit, the people should stopped her from not eating or sleeping or something, but if she didn't listen thats another story. I think the people who works in the Casinos know that she does have a addiction, and when she is not even conscience about what they are doing, that's when the people should come and stop her. I think she should gain back her law license and start her life over, don't do anymore gambling.

I'm back--prompt 33

On March 2 we were on our way to Nicaragua for our annual senior mission. As a senior I am really excited about it. I always had problem with my visa, because I'm chinese and so it was realy hard, well anyway I got denied from the Washington Nicaragua Embassy so I tried in San Francisco well they told me its going to be ready in 2 weeks I was really excited about it, well we would call everyday, the thursday before I left, we went to get it, and they gave it to me. On tueday we were on our trip and when we got there, they didn't allow to go in, they said i don't have a visa, but I said its impossible, because I just went to San Francisco and got it, but anyway they were really mad at me, i was ready to go to come back to america, everyone was praying hard for me, and after a while through alot of hard prayer i was able to go through and got in to Nicaragua, it was such a miracle from God and it showed us that we were there for a reason, we were there to do God's work.

what should we be remembered for?

other generations has been remembered for different things, and now its our turn too! our generation is going to be remembered for high-tech, and less manual labor, also very fast speed life style. A generation of less poverty, less war, less sorrow. More improved for every thing, comfortable lifestyle.

My beloved Mr. IBM

To my dear beloved friend Mr. IBM,
Today we are gathered here to overlook the hard life that mr. IBM lived, he was born in 2000 after he was born, he had been serve numerous people, in a so sucrificing way, never did he complained about working till late, or don't get fed enough. He is always there for me and my friends, he has traveled with me to many places, we've been through thick and thin, I just want to send my true sympathy to my beloved freind Mr. IBM "you've lived a long hard life, now go and rest in peace!"

Its better if I just come by myself

"Kids!!!!!! come on time to go shopping!" as I got ready to take my kids to go grocery shopping. "honey I will be back in 2 hours!! just do whatever arround the house bye I love you!" as I yelled out the door. I saw the supermarket sign, good we are finally here. Got my kids out of the car and hurried into the store. I was trying to get all the things that was on my list, when suddenly I heard glass splashing sound, and my child's cry came floating in my ear my first thought was "what just happened?" that big question mark is in my mind i left my cart, got to where the sound came from yup! thats my kid, suddenly I felt this slimy feeling run from the top my head and as I was trying to step in front, I just stepped into the syrup that my son spilled a minute ago. "oh my what is going on here! mum we would like to ask you to not bring your kids to our grocery store anymore this is just causing us trouble!!! hurry and clean this up" the manager quickly walked away
I as a mother have the worst shopping day ever! next time its better if I just do it alone.

Once upon the year

As I recalled all the years that I have lived (which is not many) I would say that 2006 was my best year, its was a growing experience for me in all ways spiritually mentally and physically and socially.
That year when I came back to W.A. I felt like all the student here are frends that I haven't seen in a long time, even thought it was my first time seeing them, everyone just clicked I have a great time working in the caf with Dahlia and Mercedes and the cook was great everyone worked together really well. Also the most important thing that year for me is that I grew so much closer to God and between students its like everyone was just friend and help each other to grow together, there was not that much drama, everyone wanted to get along and just plaine have fun.
There are too much memories to recall I'm not going to mention them one by one but that was the best year that I can recalled Go o6'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

freedom of speech

In America its freedom of speech but is it really, I’ve found that somewhat true, from being a person from the communist country I feel that America is really a free of speech country, compare to what I’m use to be. In America sometimes people will get in trouble for what they say, but they can’t make jokes about the president in public or like make cartoons about how stupid the government is, and people do protest outside thats something I don't really see in my country.
Obviously people get attack because other people don't agree with their opinion , but those people don't have to do that, everyone have their own thinking you can't control other people's thinking just let them be, as along as your thinking is right then keep what you believe!

shhh..... Don't tell anyone about this!

When your friend tell you a secret, that means they trust, its something personal and they don't wan't other people to know, because other people are not as close as you guys are, they can open up their inner world with you. There is no need for other people to be involved in this. I think we should not tell other people, unless they want to tell themselves, because you don't know who is going to hear it.

I won't ever tell anyone if my bestfriend told me something, it gives us a bond between us.

Beauty or brain?

Beauty or brain?

It is a really hard question because in my opinion a person should be beauty and have the brain, in the Bible it says that "Jesus is grow in both in the favor in God and man" I'm sure Jesus was growing in both I'm also sure that he is not ugly.
But is you want me to choose I would choose Brain, because if you have the knowledge then everything else will come to you you will know how to take care of yourself and be more and more beautiful it might not be in the eyes of God that you are good in beauty but in God's eyes I am beautiful. I want to have the knowledge and wisdom first to be able to choose what is best for me in so many ways.

Women at Work

In the beginning God created men and women to love each other to work with each other, and it is natural for the women to be weaker than the men, men goes out to work and women takes care of children at home. But now days the world promotes equality and the men and women are the same, when they are not the same, I'm not putting down women here but there are some job that is good for women, I think that Women once they are married I think all their time should be devoted to take care of her husband and her children, make her kid's childhood as fun as can be. I personaly think that politics is not what a women should go for, it is a world of men's point of view, and I think that God already give them the talent to do so, because politics needs critical thinking and women is too emotional minded for that.
I think that Women should work her best until she gets married then she can rely on her husband for life, I'm not saying for everything but for the most part. If a women after get married I think if the family is struggling with financial issues maybe the women can go out for the part time job.
I think the women should step back on some of the jobs that is offered that is suppose to be for men.

Turkey Anyone?

Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to reunite and just be visiting each other, its a warm season everyone could see their love ones.
This Thanksgiving I got alot of resting and relaxing I didn't really do anything, but it was nice to be with one of my close friends and just enjoy the company and talk to her, and just think about alot of things and clear my mind up i really needed that.

The Unseen Danger

Normal americans watches average of 4 hours worth of television a day now days, that is because they have nothing better to do, their life is so empty, and its the most lazy job ever that was created on earth, we don't even have to think for themselves the television does it for them. Its so fast that we don't even process the things that we take in and we just take it in it can't even refuse to process it. Just obsorb it all up.
When we watch TV everything else just loose its taste, everyone just wanting to do one thing, they seem to be lost in it but its just something that people feel their mind with so they don't have to think or use their brain for anything. The TV just make its philosophy for us.we view it according how the iv view, we loose so much value on alot of things just because the TV think its low.
I think that Ellen G. White is so right everyone do not have anything else in sight that is interesting to them because of the tv.

It's never too late

People can go back to college any time they want now days is it really a good idea? I think that its excellent idea, its never too late to learn more, there a too much for us to learn in this world and we could learn non-stop, its not late as long as you realize that you still need to learn, but also older folks have drawbacks like less energy or less ability to concentrate or get tired easily.
more and more old people in our society today know about nothing because they were never taught or they didn't have a chance to learn when they were young now that they have a chance they will change their view on thing and think more critically about it. I like the ambition of Mike Flynt, that was smart and I will do same if I was him.

Loneliness-prompt 18

Loneliness is something that I enjoy and dread at the same time. I love being by myself but at the same time I hate to be alone. Being alone scares me too much but it expand my thought wether it is good or bad, it makes me happy one minute and sad one minute, I know I don't really seem to be a person that likes to be alone but I am. Being alone can help me think about things not by my feeling but just think about it calmly, reason with myself and lay out everything possible thinks about everything in all face of the situation.
On a road of life I found myself walking alone I have nobody and that is what scares me the most, Even though I have so many friends arround me and everything but I still feel so alone that feeling gets to me so bad, that its like ceasing my life, it get to me so bad and I don't know how to stop it.
Anyway I really enjoy being alone at times

The day that I will never forget
It was about 5 years ago the summer that I spend in China, that was a wonderful summer, full of happiness and excitement.
It was time to go back to the Philippines because I was going to school there. So that day me and my dad got up early and went to the airport, everything went fine I arrived at the Manila airport and came out of the plane. It was super hot and humid too! I could hardly stand it anyway I got in line waiting to go through to see my mom on the other side. When it was my turn to go through they said that I don't have a visa, I was bombed out because I have just got a new visa how could this be did they mistaken something or what! anyway long story short I had to be deported back to China and that was a horrible experience and that night in the airport all by myself I started thinking about life and how precious it is I can't waste my life anymore and that is the bottom line. Anyway I had to do my visa all over again and came back to the Philippines!

If I was the president

If I was the president to be elected next year these are some things that I will definitely change.
First off I will not enforce the sunday keeping, it will be sabbath keeping, and also I will be lowering the sales tax , remove the troops from Iraq so all the soldier don't have to be in Iraq suffering anymore, they get to be with their family and have a normal person's life.
In California, I want to remove the tax for the company and drow them back to have business here.
change some of the immigration policies, so that it is easier for some people.
I don't really know about America that much but I just want to make everyone's life easier by reaching to their needs

It's mom's fault-prompt 14

Teenage drinking parties are becoming serious problem, even though it has been decline in the last few decades but its still a problem. I think that social host laws will never because this is really a personal choice and sometimes the parent's doesn't even care so they even supports their children, it might appear that there is less but if the teenage doesn't realize its bad then it won't change, I think that stricter parents might help some people but not all because some kids really rebel just for the sake of it its really sad, they rebel just for the sake of it. I think the parents are responsible for what their kids do but they should start when they are young and guide them and tell them thats bad, actually set a example for them is the best some parents even drinking away what does that say to the kids, they do the same thing.
When parents allow their children to drink at home or have like that party is like saying to them "please die early, or just kill yourself" it might seem that they are happy now but its so harmful for them and the parents are accountable for what they allow their children to do, it will lead the kids to distruction.
I just hope that the parents that they should pay attention to their kids and help them and guide them set example for them to follow and have a good and successful life.
